Las Vegas Rotary Foundation
The Las Vegas Rotary Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that is supported solely by voluntary contributions from members of the Rotary Club of Las Vegas and friends of the Foundation. We share the commitment to service that began in 1923 with the founding of the Rotary Club of Las Vegas – the first service club in Las Vegas. We support local causes to help the underprivileged in Southern Nevada. Since its inception on April 3, 1998, the Foundation has given over $300,000 dollars to support service projects of the Rotary Club of Las Vegas, including: Santa Clothes, Breakfast with Books, Salvation Army, Junior Achievement and Bracken, Beckley, Hollingsworth & Long elementary schools.
Opportunity Village of Las Vegas
Opportunity Village of Las Vegas serves adults in Southern Nevada with intellectual and related disabilities, to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Opportunity Village is dedicated to helping adults with disabilities become the very best version of themselves. Through vocational training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation, these individuals are able to find new friends, realize future career paths, seek independence and community integration, and unleash creative passions.
Mentors International provides mentoring programs, business training and micro-loans to individuals in impoverished nations including Cambodia, Nepal, Philippines, Ghana and many more throughout the world.
