Several major southern Nevada organizations are adding more than 35,000 positions in 2019 and 2020, slightly greatly exceeding the previous five-year average. This construction boom is adding fuel to the fire. The major projects under development include:
- Resorts World, 3,400 room hotel located in the heart of the strip. Employment: 5,000 permanent jobs
- Las Vegas Convention Center, $980M expansion, 7,800 jobs
- The Drew (Marriott), $3.1 Billion Resort, 7,000 jobs
- The Majestic, 45-story, 720-room hotel, 1,150 jobs
- Raiders Stadium, 6,000 jobs
- MSG Las Vegas, 4,400 jobs
- Circa Resort, 1,200 jobs
